Nuggets
Little journalistic jewels from the Saturday morning news:
- "Because of the approaching tropical storm, ships assisting with the oil spill response have moved to higher ground."
- "Two men are in the hospital because of injuries caused by a car wreck last night. Several beer bottles were found in the car. There's no word on their condition."
It's just plain special when the lighter side creeps in unintentionally.

Neat
On the second Wednesday of September, at 9 minutes after 9:00 a.m., it will be 09-09-09, 09:09 a.m. Sounds like a good time to eat 9 donuts.

Helpful, Very Helpful
I can't help but believe that the combination of advertisement and meeting announcement in a free local newspaper should substantially improve attendance at the AARP meeting.
