It's real. No doubt. Just visit several spots in the Rocky Mountains or Alaska and see where there once were glaciers. Those glaciers have receded over the last several thousand years, to leave behind vast valleys, lakes, and river beds. Commercial consumption of fossil fuels is less than 150 or so years old. Seems obvious that "we" didn't have anything to do with causing the disappearance of the historic glaciers and we sure couldn't do anything now to stop the current trend. It'd be nice if we could, but this world is a little bigger than us.
