Those freedoms include:
- To believe as we wish, worship as we want,
- To respect and be respected by others,
- To honor our ancestry and future generations,
- To see and treat others fairly.
Like it or not, these are the very Christian-based principles that America was founded upon and have led America to its state of excellence, in spite of its mistakes and occasional stupidity by those who do not observe or honor the principles. Now, so many have begun not so much to disregard the principles, but rather to damn those very principles, and characterize those who practice them as harmful, unfair, vulgar, judgmental, and hateful.
This is a true advance of the war of evil against good. Evil seeks to condemn what is good and honor what is evil. Evil can't change good, after all. Good remains good. It's the perception of good that evil attempts to contaminate. If we allow ourselves to see evil as good, and good as evil, then evil wins the battle. Evil will still lose the war, because good is still good. Principles are timeless, unfailing, and always dependable, by definition.
